Forms Required - Nulirt batch list or NPHL Test Request Form (completed in entirety) must accompany the specimen to include the following information: symptoms and date of onset, pregnancy status, travel and vaccine history. Testing will not be performed without all required information.

Storage/Transport:

Samples should be refrigerated at 2-8 ºC or frozen at -20 ºC within 30 minutes of collection

  • Low volume (<1 mL in a vacutainer or <0.3 mL in a microtainer)
  • Failure to maintain refrigerated or frozen temperatures
  • Suspected contamination
  • Damaged collection tubes
  • Clotted Samples
